Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Meet Your Team

Our team, led by Dr. Gregory A. Schmale, studies and treats problems affecting the growing bones, joints and muscles of children.

Our team includes pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants specializing in pediatric orthopedics. All of the doctors are board-certified in their specialties, and provide surgical and non-surgical care for your child.

We are experts in observing children's growth and in recommending treatment. To help your child, we often use physical and rehabilitation therapies, braces, splints and casts. When surgery is needed, we are very experienced in performing procedures to treat musculoskeletal problems.

In addition to doctors, our team includes highly trained genetic counselors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who specialize in musculoskeletal conditions.

We work closely with our colleagues in other specialties, and our patients have full access to the wide variety of services provided by a major regional medical center.
