Volunteering with Seattle Children's
Updated April 27, 2022: Status of Opening Applications for New Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Seattle Children’s. We are in the process of returning our current volunteers to service and are not accepting new volunteers at this time. We will update this page monthly with information about the status of opening applications for new volunteers. In the meantime, if you are interested in supporting Seattle Children’s, please see How to Help During COVID-19.
Volunteer Opportunities
-
Over 70 areas of the hospital depend on dedicated volunteers for everything from patient and family support to clerical work.
-
Our clinics in Bellevue and Federal Way depend on volunteers for help in the playroom or with clerical tasks and projects.
-
Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center Volunteers
Our center in Bothell for adults age 18 or older with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities relies on volunteers for classes and activities.
-
Gifts of Service and One-Time Volunteers
Gather a group of coworkers or friends to help with a project for Seattle Children’s: in the playroom, with our hospital grounds staff, or by holding a toy drive or making items to donate.
-
Become a member of the Guild Association family, a network of volunteers dedicated to improving the health of children.
-
Volunteers are at the heart of our Bargain Boutique stores, which sell donated goods to benefit Seattle Children’s.
-
From telethons to galas and more, extra hands and help are always needed.
-
High School and Youth Service Projects
We partner with high school students, Eagle Scouts and Girl Scouts to offer guidance and approval on service projects.
-
This program would not be possible without the help of hundreds of volunteers who place tags in participating stores.
