    Purchase a Miracle campaign

    Look for Purchase a Miracle shelf tags at your local grocery store from May 1 - June 15. These products support cancer research at Seattle Children's through their sponsorship participation. For more than 30 years, this annual grocery industry campaign in Washington. has been raising awareness and funds to provide hope, care and cures for patient families.

    University of Washington ACM Spring BBQ

    Association for Computing Machinery @ the University of Washington is a student-led organization in the Allen School dedicated to building community in UW's computer science department, providing career growth and academic resources, offering opportunities for mentorship, and making CSE feel like home.     Running from Gluten 5K

    The Celiac Guild supporting Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Celiac Program presents the first In Person Running from Gluten 5K! The event will take place on Saturday May 21, 2022 at Magnuson Park. This is a 3.1 mile course that starts and ends near the beach house facility. Come run or walk and feel good about supporting the children and families affected by Celiac Disease.

    We will also host a virtual race that will kick off on that same Saturday May 21st, concluding on Sunday May 22nd. You can run anywhere and any time during that weekend! Please post your pictures! #RunningFromGluten5K

    A Night at the Movies Concert by Music for Charity at UW

    Music for Charity at UW is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) that strives to use music to raise awareness for world issues and funds for non-profit organizations. This particular event will feature a 70+ person full orchestra and choir performing film scores. Admission to this event will be free with optional donations to Seattle Children's Hospital.

    Calligraphy Against Cancer

    This event is a calligraphy and greeting card workshop fundraiser for teens and adults. We will be doing calligraphy on greeting cards and using watercolors to decorate them. It will be a guided workshop and assistance will be provided. I will be teaching how to do calligraphy on any canvas and then specifically apply it to watercolored greeting card patterns. Participants will get to keep their greeting cards for their use, or can choose to donate them and write a personalized note for a patient to read and enjoy. All artistic materials, including calligraphy pens, will be provided. This workshop fundraiser does not require payment for admission but we encourage donations that will go toward Seattle Children's Hospital.

    Drop in to Crossroads Community Center from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 11th for a fun, creative time to support Seattle Children's!

    Bling and Swing Annual Auction and Golf Tournament

    Join us for our largest single fundraiser for ABC – “Bling and Swing” the annual Auction and Golf Tournament on June 25th & 26th. It’s going to be in-person after two years on Zoom. This fundraiser has helped ABC purchase the two vans we use for outings, our new elevator, music equipment and our disco ball!

    Sedro-Woolley Grand Log Drive

    Sedro-Woolley is bringing back a long-standing tradition referred to as a "Log Drive" (first done in 1940's). On July 3, a red, white and blue log (8' long with a 14" diameter) will be dropped into the Skagit River at the Marblemount Bridge. Tickets are $5. Ticket buyers will guesstimate the time that the log takes to float to Clear Lake Bridge. 25% of proceeds will go to the person with the closest guess (hours, minutes, and seconds). In the event of a tie, the 25% is split evenly. The other 75% will be donated to Seattle Children's Hospital for cancer treatment. The winning time and ticket holder will be announced at the Loggerodeo Grand Parade on July 4 at 11 a.m.

    Good Karma 5K

    I Can and I Will Run

    The I Can and I Will Guild's in-person run will take place on Sunday, October 16th, 2022. For those that can't make it in-person, the guild will also host a virtual race that will kick off on that same Sunday, concluding on Sunday, October 23rd. The in-person event on 10/16 will start and finish near the Green Lake Community Center and the baseball fields. This 3.1 mile course utilizes a section of the inner path of the trail as well as the roads around Green Lake. The 10K route will include Lower Woodland Park and the roads circling the Woodland Park Zoo and then reconnect with the 5K course. Remember that every step you take will make a difference in the lives of families who are facing difficult diagnoses and financial hardship. Register today at:
