Advanced Practice Providers

Advanced practice providers consist of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. These providers have advanced training and provide direct patient care working closely with the physician team. They diagnose, treat, perform bedside procedures and intervene in patient emergencies. These providers can make referrals and also teach patients and families about serious and chronic conditions.
