    • If you would like an appointment at one of South Sound Cardiology’s clinic locations, ask your primary care provider for a referral. We encourage you to coordinate with your primary care provider when coming to South Sound Cardiology. Having a referral will make insurance authorization easier for you, and will make it easier for us to coordinate with your doctor.
    • We will typically call you to schedule your appointment 1 or 2 business days after your primary care provider sends us your referral.
    • If your primary care provider has sent a referral to South Sound Cardiology and you have not heard from us within 2 business days of being referred, please call 253-272-1812 to schedule an appointment for all locations.

    • No pre-referral work-up is required for most conditions. If you have already done testing such as an EKG, Holter monitor or echocardiogram, please fax this information as well as relevant clinic notes and the NARF to 253-682-1455 or 866-584-4047 (toll-free).
    • Your patient will be seen as quickly as possible by the provider who is the best match for managing the current problem.

Seattle Children’s South Sound Cardiology Clinics provide care for newborns, children and teens in the South Puget Sound region. The main office is in Tacoma. The doctors also see patients in Federal Way, Olympia and Silverdale.

The cardiologists in the South Sound Cardiology Clinics are part of Seattle Children’s Heart Center, a multidisciplinary team offering the full range of cardiac care, from prenatal consultation to cardiac care for young adults.

Meet Your Team

All of our providers live and work in the South Sound and are part of the Seattle Children’s Heart Center care team. In addition to seeing patients in clinic, our cardiologists provide expert, in-person consultations at hospitals throughout the South Sound region, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We will discuss your child’s condition and treatment options in ways you can understand. We will work closely with you and your child’s referring physician to create a treatment plan that meets your child’s unique needs.

Pediatric cardiologists
Pediatric cardiologists evaluate, treat and manage care for babies, children and teens with heart problems. They provide follow-up care throughout childhood and, when it’s time, will help transition your child to adult cardiac care.

Highway 3 North (From Port Townsend/Poulsbo) 

  • Take Highway 3 North to Exit 45 for East Bremerton/Silverdale.
  • Turn left at the top of the off ramp.
  • Follow the signs to East Bremerton. The highway becomes Waaga Way/Highway 303 East.
  • Take the Ridgetop Boulevard exit. Turn right at the light. Stay in the left lane.
  • Turn left onto Mickelberry Road NW.
  • Turn right onto NW Bucklin Hill Road.
  • Turn right onto Levin Road.
  • Turn right into the Clear Creek Medical Building parking lot. 

Highway 3 North (From Port Orchard) 

  • Take Highway 3 North.
  • Take the Newberry Hill Road exit.
  • Turn right at NW Newberry Hill Road.
  • Bear left at the traffic circle at Silverdale Way NW.
  • Turn right onto NW Bucklin Hill Road.
  • Turn left onto Levin Road.
  • Turn right into the Clear Creek Medical Building parking lot.
