Children’s isn't like home, but, as much as possible, we want our patients to participate in familiar play and teen activities.
If your child is staying in the hospital, ask your nurse about therapeutic play programs or visit Child Life.
Looking for something fun to do at the hospital? Here's what Children’s has to offer:
The Inpatient Playroom (level 4, Mountain zone) has toys, books, movies, crafts and games you can take to your child’s room. It also has an outdoor play area and special activities for patients and siblings. Volunteers can come to your child’s room to read or to play with them during Playroom hours. Visit the Child Life page to learn more.
Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
