Spin-out Spotlight: Umoja Biopharma
Next Generation CAR-T for Cancer and Immunology
Umoja Biopharma was launched from pioneering immunotherapy research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute and Purdue University to revolutionize how we treat pediatric solid tumors and blood cancers. By providing the intellectual property framework and specialized lab space within our Building Cure facility, we served as the essential launchpad for this clinical-stage company to scale its "in vivo" CAR-T technology. This partnership continues to accelerate life-saving discoveries, ensuring breakthrough science moves rapidly from our benches to first-in-human clinical trials for children.
