Brain Tumor Resource Lab
The Brain Tumor Resource Lab strives to generate and distribute patient-derived xenograft models and cell lines. Our focus is on pediatric brain tumors.
The figure at right depicts the best-characterized models for comparison. Click on it for a larger version.
Please note that the tissue culture lines should not be implanted into mice and patient-derived xenograft cell lines should not be used for tissue culture.
These resources are for academic use only. Please contact us if you are interested in other uses.
Similar to ATCC, the only way to obtain these lines is to place an order through this site. This ensures that we can contact you if important information needs to be conveyed, that you understand that the lines cannot be shared, that a material transfer agreement is in place and that we can track how these lines are used to benefit science and medicine.
We gratefully acknowledge funding from the National Institutes of Health, Seattle Run of Hope, the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg, Germany.
