"As a pediatric cardiologist, I believe that we serve as educators, healthcare providers, and at times, life coaches. Of the many opportunities afforded to me through my work, the chance to accompany a patient and family through their lives is a blessing and honor. As a physician, I am guided by the tenet that every person has the right to an enriching, fruitful and productive life."

Dr. Rubio was awesome! He’s smart, personable and gave great suggestions. I’d also like to mention Dr. Rubio’s nurse team who were all also amazing. Thank you for helping rule out any issues with our daughter.

Dr. Rubio is very caring and compassionate. Our daughter came in for a Cath lab and he took the time to explain everything before the Cath lab and after the lab. We liked him a lot.

I had the opportunity and privilege of working with Dr. Rubio at a Children's Hospital in NJ. He was one of the kindest and most compassionate individuals I had the honor of working with. All the best!

Dr. Rubio is a kind, patient and caring doctor who really understands children and not only knows how to help a child thrive by opening up their heart in a cath lab, as he did with our son, but also talk soccer and interact well with our son and us in an office setting. As far as we are concerned he saved our son's life one very early morning when his pinched aorta was found last minute. We continue visiting every him every 6 months and even though these visits can be stressful, with questions swirling in my head like..will he need another procedure, his calm demeanor helps us work through the next steps to our sons health and best plans of action. Can't recommend him enough!
-
Dr. Rubio did our daughter's heart cath procedure this year and we were very pleased with how thoroughly he explained how the procedure went after it was over. He has a fantastic personality that puts you at ease even if you are stressed about the procedure. We would chose him again if another cath was needed in the future!

Dr. Rubio is not only a great cardiologist, but a master artist in the art of caring for kids and their families. He has been with us since day one in the ER, and we are so grateful for all of his compassion and care.

Dr.Rubio is an awesome and amazing person. He did my daughters heart surgery that no else wanted to do because it was so "minor". Now she is thriving in high school and in AF JRROTC. Thank You Dr. Rubio for being great! I would deffinatey recommend him to anyone who needs a cardiologist. (Ps I am not an easy person to deal with at all when it comes to medical settings now)

Dr. Rubio has been a fabulous cardiologist to work with. He has performed 3 of the 4 heart surgeries for our son Bryton who is just 4 years old. At all times he keeps us informed, helps us to understand the processes and challenges of the work that he does and is straight forward in terms of expected outcomes, recovery times etc. He is an essential part of our son's ongoing care and we value his expertise, his professional opinions and his warmth. Bryton thinks of Dr. Rubio as his buddy, as someone who is helping to keep his heart strong and we look forward to our visits with him. We know Bryton has a strong leader on his team and that gives us comfort! Thank you for all that you do for our son Bryton!

DR. RUBIO IS THE BEST CARDIOLOGIST IN CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELPFULNESS WITH OUR DAUGHTER ALYIZAE ANITA DAILEY-HILSABECK.... YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS.. THANK YOU, TIFFANI AND TOMMY DAILEY-HILSABECK

Dr. Rubio is fantastic. He has done all three of our son's catheterization procedures (which haven't all been straightforward, and the first was at only 5 days old) and I always know our son is in good hands with him. And he always checks in on him when he is on the floor in recovery, even if he is there for other reasons than one of his caths.
