Clinic Information
We are not a one-time walk-in clinic. We care deeply about each child’s unique needs and strengths and seek to treat children holistically. While we are not pediatric psychiatrists, we are trained to assess behavioral challenges, such as ADD/ADHD, and common family and school issues.
Richmond Pediatrics first opened its doors in 1964 to meet a community need for high-caliber pediatric and adolescent care delivered in a friendly neighborhood office. In 2023, Richmond Pediatrics became part of Seattle Children’s Primary Care Group. A lot has changed in the medical world over the years, but not the need for high-quality, compassionate care. Our family of patients has grown and now includes the children and grandchildren of some of our original patients. We’ve never wavered from our founding principles, which include:
- Excellence – Our physicians and staff are highly skilled and trained and dedicated to continuous improvement. We promote professional development, remain aware of industry developments and are highly respected in our field.
- Accessibility – We serve everyone in our community with respect and kindness. We want all patients to feel safe and supported, and we do everything we can to provide the best care and achieve the optimal balance of affordability and convenience.
- Compassion – We are here for you. We will provide you with reliable, expert guidance and are here for you when you need us. Our vision of a happy, healthy community depends on the health and happiness of each of our families. We hope to form lasting relationships with everyone we serve.

After-Hours Care
Please call 911 if there is a life-threatening medical emergency requiring immediate medical attention.
If a non-emergency medical problem arises after routine office hours, call our office at 206-546-2421 and press 2 and you will be directed to connect to the after hours consulting nurses. Please note that there is an $18 charge for each call to the Nurse Triage Team.
If either you or the nurse consultant feels that your child’s illness/concern should not wait until our office reopens, we recommend Seattle Children’s for an after-hours appointment. Seattle Children's offers both urgent care clinics and emergency care. For more information, including hours and locations, visit Seattle Children’s Emergency Department or Urgent Care.
Seattle Children's Urgent Care
- Urgent Care visits are not for medical emergencies. If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911. If you’re not sure where to bring your child, check out the Emergency or Urgent Care guide.
- For in-person visits, please make an appointment before you arrive to ensure your child will get care. Please note this is an estimated time to be seen. Due to high demand, you may have to wait even if you have reserved a time. Walk-in visits are limited and cannot be guaranteed.
