Pediatric Migraine Pathophysiology
Objectives and Disclosures
Participants will be able to:
- Differentiate key differences between pediatric and adult migraine pathophysiology, including age-specific clinical features and diagnostic considerations.
- Assess pediatric migraine early, diagnose associated paroxysmal conditions and implement an evidence-based early intervention framework to improve outcomes in the pediatric population.
- Examine how recent advances in migraine research have led to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and evaluate their relevance to the future of pediatric headache clinical practice.
