"Connecting with patients, families, and staff drives my work each day. It is a privilege to collaborate with families, especially in difficult situations. I find that when you communicate clearly but sprinkle in some humor, you can empower patients and families to make informed decisions about their care."

Dr. Salerno has been our Cardiologist for many years. He has always been a top notch doctor and I am learning to appreciate him in a new way as my son approaches adulthood. Our son had CHD that required two surgeries resulting in a Fontan circulation. Dr Jack has been a great coach and mentor facilitating his care in our transitions from child, adolescent and now approaching adult. It was a wistful moment for me this year when my son was driving as we left our annual checkup and I realized our time at Childrens will soon be in our past. Thank you for all the wonderful years of encouragement and medical care!

Jack Salerno has been so great to us. Even though he probably sees thousands of patients every year and we only see him once every 2 years, I feel like he always remembers us and is so great with our daughter. I wouldn't want anyone else to be her doctor.

    • J Seattle, WA 05.31.12

Excellent Doc. He has a way of connecting with young kids as well as older teens, understanding how children and teens communicate. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain things in understandable terms. I wouldn't want to have my son treated by anyone else.

    • Nicole Darrington WA 05.01.12

We first met Dr. Salerno when our little girl was just a few days old. He made us feel at ease with what was going on with our daughter. He really helped us to understand what was going on and treated our daughter as if she was his family. I would recommend him to all my friends! He is truly a great doctor!

    • Matt Bellingham 03.14.12

He is the best Dr. that I could ask for ever. I would recomend him to all my friends and family.

    • Scott EDMONDS 12.17.10

We were referred to Dr. Salerno with my Son's illness. I have never felt so at ease with a more professional Dr. as I did with Dr. Salerno. He has a way of making kids feel comfortable as they visit his office. i'm truely grateful for all he did to help my son. I have recommended Salerno in the past & wouldn't hesitate in the future to refer him to my family & friends. Excellent Dr.

    • Nancy Bellevue, Wa 12.01.10

Dr. Salerno is amazing. My daughter was referred to Cardiology after an ER visit. He was one of the first doctors that was able to look at the bigger picture and helped us figure out what was going on with my daughter. He's also great with the patients and made both my daughter and I feel totally at ease. We couldn't have been luckier to end up in his care.
