  • Biography

    Brian Morray, MD is a native of the Seattle area and recently returned to Seattle to complete his advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology after completing his Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Boston Childrens Hospital where he was Chief Fellow. Before that, Dr. Morray was a pediatric resident here at Seattle Childrens Hospital.

    Seattle Childrens Hospital has long been a part of Dr. Morrays life as both his parents worked here while he was growing up, his father as a physician and his mother as a nurse. It has long been a goal of his to return to the pacific northwest and continue working with the children of the region.

    Dr. Morray has a number of research interests that center around his clinical role in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Specifically, he is interested in the development and testing of new percutaneous devices such as percutaneous heart valve implants that advance our ability to treat serious congenital heart disease in less invasive ways. Dr. Morray is also interested in developing new means of supporting the heart muscle with catheter based approaches to help children recover from illnesses affecting the heart.
