Parent Support Program
This program gives families of children with special health needs a way to connect with an experienced volunteer parent who has been through a similar situation with their own child. Parent matches are made with the intention of providing emotional, practical and informational support. Conversations between parents typically take place over the phone. For more information, see ‘Parent Support Program’ seattlechildrens.org/pdf/pe2674.pdf or contact the Parent Support Program coordinator at 206-987-1119 or email [email protected].
Summer Picnics
Summer picnics are yearly events held at a park or zoo near the hospital. They are a wonderful opportunity to meet other families in a casual, relaxed environment. Kids and families dealing with similar challenges meet each other and find understanding and support. Call the Craniofacial Center for more information about the picnics.
