Ronelle E Caskey, ARNP
Bladder and Bowel Health Program, Urology
On staff since October 1997
"I feel so fortunate to love my work. I can think of no other place I'd rather be than walking along side our patients and their families. Having a child experience surgery is very difficult. I hope to ease a family's stress by offering encouragement and by teaching them how to care for their child, whether it's how to change an ostomy bag, dress a wound or deliver feeds through a gastrostomy tube."

Ronelle was raised in Michigan and came to Seattle to pursue her bachelor's degree in nursing at Seattle Pacific University. She started at Children's in 1997 on the surgical unit. In 2002, she attained her master's degree in nursing from the University of Washington and joined general surgery as an ARNP. Outside of work, she spends her time with her husband and two boys.

Ronelle is very caring, friendly, helpful and competent. She has helped with teaching me how to care for my daughter's stoma after surgery. I highly recommend her!
