Erin Albers, MD, MSCI, is attending pediatric cardiologist at Seattle Children's Hospital and is an Assosicate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
She earned her MD at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and completed her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She went on to complete her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt where she also obtained a masters degree in clinical investigation (MSCI). Her sub-specialty training in pediatric heart failure and transplant was completed jointly at Vanderbilt and Seattle Children's Hospital before joining the Seattle Children's Heart Center as faculty in 2012.
Dr. Albers enjoys caring for infants and children of all ages with all types of congenital and acquired heart diseases, and she has specific research interests and clinical expertise in the management of pediatric heart failure and heart transplantation. -
