ACT! Actively Changing Together

The ACT! program (Actively Changing Together) is a healthy lifestyle program available for youth (8 to 14 years old) who have a body mass index (BMI) greater than the 85th percentile.

This program requires a referral from a healthcare provider, and at least one adult family member must participate.

The ACT! program is a partnership between the YMCA of Greater Seattle and Seattle Children’s Hospital. It is available at select YMCAs around the area, including those in King and Pierce counties as well as in Olympia and Yakima.

How do I enroll my family in the ACT! program?

To enroll, follow these steps:

For current program dates and applicable fees, call the participating YMCA branch closest to your home, which you can find in the flyer and referral form (PDF) (Somali) (Spanish), or email the YMCA.

The YMCA is a membership organization open to all people. Financial assistance, to the extent possible, is available to those in need.
