The influence of feeding source on the gut microbiome and time to full feeds in neonates with congenital gastrointestinal pathologies

CGP Milk

What is the goal of the study?

Infants with congenital gastrointestinal pathologies are at high risk for long hospitalization due to intolerance of feeds. This is a randomized control trial that will be exploring the use of exclusive human milk versus current standard of care's influence on time to full feeds and the gut microbiome. The study will also examine differences between parental milk and donor milk.
