What is the goal of the study?

For this two-phase observational study, we will (Phase 1) use an embedded multi-method approach integrating quantitative survey-based, qualitative, and passive smartphone data to characterize social connection and loneliness among adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors, including modifiable contributing factors; and (Phase 2) use this knowledge and AYA stakeholder input to develop and refine a social connection intervention prototype.
