Pediatric Immune Monitoring to Optimize Superior Allograft Outcomes in Transplantation Outcomes of KidneyCare in Renal Allografts

What is the goal of the study?

This is a prospective, multicenter observational study, with inbuilt real-time longitudinal sampling, and batched testing of novel measures. Inclusion criteria: Recipients age <21 years of an abo compatible kidney-only transplant within the prior 3 months. the purpose of this research study is to monitor the immune system after transplantation. we will monitor antibodies against your kidney and learn how viral infections affect your immune system and how they could cause damage the kidney. we are hoping this research will help us to detect damage to the new kidney earlier and understand some of the ways transplanted kidneys are damaged over time.>
