Hemostasis during Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation

ECMO Hemostasis

What is the goal of the study?

This is a descriptional study that will be measuring thrombin generation, microvesicles and other hemostatic parameters from new born to patients up to 21 years of age connected to the ECMO circuit at multiple time points. The blood draws will be done through the existing indwelling-lines associated with the ECMO circuit.
