What is the goal of the study?
The National Marrow Donor Program and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research databases store data on individuals who have donated or received bone marrow or stem cells for transplant procedures. These data centers store this information for future research purposes. Individuals who originally signed consents to allow this information to be used by researchers may need to re-sign consents once the original consent period has expired.
