We want to help you understand your bill from Seattle Children’s. Here are answers to common questions about charges for heart monitors.
What are the charges on my bill?
When your child has a heart monitor, you will see these charges on your bill:
- Provider services charge: Includes the doctor’s services to read and interpret the monitor data
- Hospital/clinic services charges: Includes hospital staff hooking up the monitor to your child and processing the monitor data so the doctor can interpret the results
The total charges for a heart monitor range from $2,100 to $2,600.
