Updated Regional Clinic Flyers

It’s important for community providers to know the latest healthcare services, access hours, contact information and specialists available for patients at their local clinics, so Seattle Children’s regularly updates its regional flyers with current information. Updated Radiology Exam Request Form

Seattle Children’s recently made updates to its Radiology Exam Request Form including the option of adding a Cobb Angle scoliosis measurement request when appropriate, along with other small adjustments to ensure all necessary information is included in the initial form submission.

By making these changes and clarifying what information is needed in the form, the intent is to reduce additional back-and-forth requests for more details, saving time for community providers who sometimes had to submit additional information in the past.

The new form is in a fillable PDF format and should be faxed to Radiology at 206-985-3128.

Talking with Kids About GI Conditions

Dr. David Suskind, a pediatric gastroenterologist, creates comic books to explain complex topics, such as functional abdominal pain, eosinophilic esophagitis, fatty liver disease and celiac disease, to kids and teens.

For community providers who might find it helpful, his most recent addition is A Novel Way to Talk to Kids About GI Conditions.

The comics help reduce stigma and improve communication and care. Digital copies are free and available for everyone at Livewellcomics.com.
