eConsult Go Live for Seven Additional Specialties is November 20

Beginning November 20, eConsults will be available for Biochemical Genetics, Clinical Genetics, Craniofacial, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Gynecology, and Rehabilitation Medicine. Below are some additional details on what to expect:

  • eConsults for the additional specialties will be available beginning at 8 a.m. PT on November 20 via EpicCare Link.
  • Because our goal was to go live with as many specialties as possible prior to changes to the Provider-to-Provider line, templates are more general than past waves. If there is not a template available for your specific question, it should be directed to the “Unspecified Clinical Question” template.

Biochemical Genetics will have templates for:

  • Abnormal Newborn Screen, Biochemical, or Genetic Test Results
  • Family History of Biochemical Genetics Condition
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Clinical Genetics will have templates for:

  • Hypermobility
  • Family History Clinical Question
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Craniofacial will have templates for:

  • Skull Size and Shape
  • Cleft Lip and Palate
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Interventional Radiology will have templates for:

  • Enteral Access
  • Central Venous Access
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Nephrology will have templates for:

  • Abnormal Urinalysis
  • Abnormal Ultrasound
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Gynecology will have templates for:

  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Rehabilitation Medicine will have templates for:

  • Concussion
  • Tone Management
  • Unspecified Clinical Question

Additionally, Gastroenterology will update the their template for “Infant with Bloody Diarrhea” to “Blood in Stools” to be able to serve additional patients.
