Giving to Seattle Children's

More than 100 years ago, Seattle Children’s was founded by a group of philanthropic women to care for children regardless of race, religion, gender or a family’s ability to pay. Their generous spirit remains as Seattle Children’s continues to provide specialized care to all kids who need us, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Our experts, with the support of donors and volunteers, provide clinical care and research in the relentless pursuit to improve lives today and create better tomorrows. There are many ways to donate and get involved with Seattle Children’s to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Patient Ambassador

Meet Seeley

Seeley was just 2 weeks old when she was diagnosed with high-risk leukemia. To get the specialized care she needed, Seeley’s family was prepared to fly anywhere in the world from their home on the Hawaiian island of Kauaʻi. The expert team they sought was at Seattle Children’s.

Today, Seeley is cancer-free, back home in Kauaʻi, and is active and full of joy.
