For A Cure NW is hosting the 6th Annual Swing For a Cure charity golf tournament which raises money for Seattle Children's Hospital's High-Risk Leukemia Lymphoma Program. The event will be held on August 22 at Legion Memorial Golf Course in Everett.

Check-in starts at 10:30 a.m., with pre-scramble contests to follow, shotgun start at 1 p.m., with lunch and dinner provided.

To provide the best care for kids, hospitals rely on donations and community support, as insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $9 billion, most of it $1 at a time. The Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals supports the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

The 18th annual Run of Hope Seattle offers a 5K Run, 3K Walk, Kids Dash (for kids 8 and under) and, if you can't make it in person, a Virtual 5K all to raise money and awareness for cancer research at Seattle Children's.
