    Clinical Interests

    Dr Teoh’s clinical time includes inpatient and outpatient Infectious Diseases consultation and is the infectious disease liaison for the solid organ transplant programs at Seattle Children’s Hospital

    Research Description

    Dr. Teoh’s research interests are focused on understanding the epidemiology of common and ubiquitous viral infections including rhinovirus, enterovirus, adenovirus, and cytomegalovirus as well as understudied viruses that impact children including HHV-8 and dengue. Examining the natural history, seasonality, and interaction between different pathogens in both hospitalized and healthy children are among his research priorities. Dr Teoh also translates these areas of interest to the solid organ transplant population, where he aims to examine the impact and burden of different viruses in children who received a solid organ transplant.
