I am an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) who specializes in pediatric bone marrow transplantation.
Previously I was a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where I cared for adults diagnosed with cancers and hematologic conditions. During my nurse practitioner training, I discovered how much I enjoyed working with children, helping them and their families persevere through difficult treatments. That interest drives the focus of my career today. At Seattle Children's, I provide care for pediatric patients who are undergoing bone marrow transplantation for a variety of malignant and non-malignant disorders. It's rewarding to collaborate so closely with families and share with them the constant innovations in this field.
