"The families at Odessa Brown make my job the best job in the world. I come from a community where people pull together in hard times, where elders are respected and cared for, and where the entire neighborhood looks after the children. When I moved from Minneapolis to Seattle I was thrilled to find a similar community at Odessa. People here really care about each other and the work that we do. Sure there are hard days and sad cases, but overall the work that is done is rewarding and the good far exceeds the hardships we experience some times. To know that I can help patients achieve health in every way that is defined be it medically, nutritionally, socially, emotionally, or even academically is more then I ever thought possible in one place."
