In the last few months, we have had 2 virtual urgent care visits, our first with Dr. Tarr and our most recent with Lindsay Van Houten. I may be a medical professional, but when it comes to my own child, I'm a wreck. Both providers were excellent at calming me down AND assessing my child virtually (and treating him!). Most recently, my child's symptoms dramatically improved just before checking in for our virtual visit, and our provider was kind about the whole thing and reassured me that I did the right thing. I was super impressed with the care we received at our first visit with Dr. Tarr, as well (and her patience and reassurance for the overly-anxious parent!)! I definitely recommend Seattle Children's Virtual Urgent Care - a truly vital part of caring for the children of Washington state, especially those in areas without access to pediatric-specific urgent care!

Dr. Tarr really took the time to make sure I felt heard and listened to while caring for my 4 month old. She communicated clearly and in terms I understood, and made sure I felt comfortable with the care plan before we left urgent care. Thank you Dr. Tarr!
