Kalee Nicole Carson, ARNP, MSN, CPNP-AC, MSN
"I believe that the best approach to pediatric care is through partnership between the patient, their caregivers and their medical team. The aspect that I love most about my role is the unique opportunity to foster long-term connections with my young patients and their families. To witness their resilience and serve as a source of support and guidance during the often vulnerable and difficult transplant journey is a privilege."
I am a board-certified acute care pediatric with subspecialty in pediatric oncology. I care for children and young adults undergoing transplantation. I have particular expertise in the transplant care of patients with non-malignant disorders. I also have special interest in caring for patients who are at risk of infertility as a result of their disease-directed therapy.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a bedside registered nurse in inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for 5 years, where I cared for patients with cancer, immunodeficienies, and blood disorders.
