  • Biography

    Dr. Cheng is an assistant professor of urology at the University of Washington and a pediatric urologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Before attending medical school, Dr. Cheng taught middle school math and science and received a master's degree in education. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her urology residency at Loma Linda University and her pediatric urology fellowship at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cheng served as a pediatric urologist in Portland, Oregon before returning to Seattle. Her approach to working with patients and families reflects her previous teaching experience, research interests in patient education, and personal experience as a parent.
