    Julia Mitzel is a family nurse practitioner who obtained her graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University and Gonzaga University. She has previously worked in Montana and Alaska and continues to provide telemedicine services for patients living in those states.

    She sees patients in Seattle, Everett and Yakima and is a member of the Seattle Children’s Prader Willi Clinic. Julia has a particular interest in serving patients and families with a history of abuse, neglect  or foster care. As a sibling and guardian for an older sister with intellectual disability, Julia is particularly interested in how developmental differences impact the whole family and strives to provide holistic care.

    Along with her work in the Neurodevelopmental Clinic, Julia works for the Harborview Abuse and Trauma Clinic as a sexual assault examiner.
