Dr. Werny has been instrumental in the care of our daughter who was diagnosed at 11 years old with Type 1 Diabetes. Dr. Werny and Team take the time to listen to our concerns and make the necessary Insulin adjustments to help keep our daughter healthy and active. He has made a huge impact in our daughter's health.

    • Alejandra Bellevue, Washington 02.02.17

Dr.Werny was very patient and really took the time to explain our daughter's diagnosis during the appointment. She has been diagnosed with hypoglycemia and he really went through all the causes and treatments associated to it in such an easy and well explained way. He took the time to go through all our daughter's medical records. I highly recommend Dr. Werny.

    • Dawn Redmond, WA 10.11.16

Dr. Wearny has been monitoring my daughter's congenital hypothyroid for 2.5 years. When my daughter's condition was first referred to Children's when she was a few days old, Dr. Wearny called us on Easter Sunday evening and spent an hour talking to me and my husband about the findings. We greatly appreciated his unscheduled time and patience answering our questions. We have found him to be very patient, offer good explanations and really listen to our concerns. He engages with the kids in their world - like when my 3 year old son's toy needed a check-up during his sister's visit - or giving my 1.5 year old daughter extra band-aides - on a day when she had about 3 on just for fun. I am also impressed with his prompt follow through and phone calls that I actually receive from him - sometimes just to let me know the most recent tests were good! I highly recommend Dr. Wearny!
