Dr. Annie Reese was born in Chicago and raised on the East Coast. She migrated west for college at Stanford where she graduated with a degree in American studies and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. During medical school, she traveled to the Philippines for six months to conduct public health research. She completed her residency at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, now called Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Professionally, Dr. Reese enjoys the diversity of general pediatrics and its opportunities for lifelong learning. Clinically, she has special interests in both breastfeeding/chestfeeding and adolescent medicine. In addition, she has been involved with committees at Seattle Children’s Hospital to improve quality across pediatrics in the northwest. She also maintains an academic appointment as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
