Research Staff Development Committee

The Research Staff Development Committee (RSDC) is a staff-led, volunteer committee dedicated to serving the unique needs of research staff primarily through advocacy, professional development and engagement.

The RSDC represents all areas of research - basic, clinical and outcomes research - as well as research support services, and carries out initiatives to:

  • Provide training and educational opportunities for staff
  • Improve staff engagement
  • Build staff relations
  • Serve as advocates for staff with faculty and executive leadership
  • Retain and recognize staff
  • Provide staff opportunities for networking and fun

During monthly committee meetings, the group discusses staff needs and identifies ways to better serve and support their peers. The RSDC reports to the president of the research institute and meets quarterly with research leadership to advocate for staff needs and to ensure committee initiatives continue to align with organizational goals.

For more information, please contact the RSDC directly.
