What is the goal of the study?

This is a qualitative consecutive cohort study of 20-30 adolescent patients with type 1 diabetes (T!D) and a parent (adolescent and teen interviewed separately). Qualitative methods include 1:1 semi-structured interviews with questions about stress, resilience, and diabetes management. Adolescents and their parent will also be asked to complete brief descriptive surveys.
