Speech perception outcomes in children with single-sided deafness.

What is the goal of the study?

There are two main aims for this study: Aim 1: Determine whether there are subjective performance differences between children who use three different devices. The three devices used in this study will be contralateral routing of signal (CROS), bone conduction sound processor (BCSP), and frequency modulation (FM) systems. Aim 2: Determine whether clinically available behavioral measures show significant performance differences between patients who use three different devices for listening in background noise.
