Severe Combined Immune Deficiency: Prospective and Longitudinal Study of Genotypes, Management and Outcomes

A Study of SCID Disorders 6907

What is the goal of the study?

In this prospective and longitudinal natural history study, the aim is to identify variables that affect long-term outcomes following potentially life-saving Definitive Therapy (DT), which includes either 1) allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT), or 2) autologous gene therapy (GT). There are three key periods of time for patients receiving therapy for SCID: 1) the pre-DT period, 2) the early post- DT period, and 3) the late post-DT period when long-term side effects may become apparent.

Who can participate in the study?
