Integrating Multi-parametric Echocardiography with Computer Assisted Analyses in Detection for Early Allograft Rejection in Pediatric Heart Transplant Recipients: A Prospective Multicenter Pilot Trial (ECHO-EZ)

ECHO-EZ

What is the goal of the study?

The aim of this project is to perform a prospective multicenter study comparing a standardized non-invasive, echocardiography-based allograft rejection detection strategy (ECHO-E) to EMB for acute rejection (ACR and AMR) in pediatric heart transplant recipients. The primary outcome objective is the test the hypothesis that in the first year after heart transplant ECHO-E will be equivalent to EMB-based rejection detection based on high negative predictive value > 0.95 with a high positive predictive value > 0.9.
