Expansion of Pediatric Vestibular Evaluations
Vestibular Screening Study
What is the goal of the study?
Evaluation of objective vestibular assessment tools, including cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (cVEMPs) and video head impulse testing (vHIT) in children with normal hearing and sensorineural hearing loss to establish robust clinical norms for vestibular function evaluations, validate the efficiency of a time-sensitive vestibular screening protocol in at-risk populations (e.g., children with hearing loss), and define the therapeutic interventions that will provide evidence-based rehabilitation protocols for vestibular dysfunction.
