Assessment of Systemic Ventricular Volume and Function using the VentriPoint Medical System in Patients with Single Ventricle Congenital Heart Disease; A Comparison to cMRI

Fontan VentriPoint

What is the goal of the study?

This is a prospective single site observational study enrolling 50 patients with SV-CHD, referred for clinically indicated CMR. In conjunction to the clinical CMR and standard echocardiogram, participant will undergo one additional echocardiogram limited to 10 minutes for the purpose of research. The special 10-minute echocardiogram will be used with the VentriPoint System to create a three-dimensional (?3D?) picture of the heart. The measurements of the heart taken from this 3D picture will be compared to the measurements taken with the participant?s regular cardiac MRI.

Who can participate in the study?
