Placental Computational Tools
Placental TRN
This web based shiny application was designed to summarize and provide information about how specific transcription factors (TF) regulate gene expression in the placenta.
Within the TRN Tools section of the application, you will find 3 different functions:
- Query which TFs regulate an individual gene
- Query which genes are regulated by an individual TF
- Perform an over-representation enrichment test on a gene list of interest.

Comparative Transcriptomic Placental Model Atlas App
This web based shiny application was designed to provide a user friendly interface for searching and visualizing data regarding global transcriptomic differences in placental tissue and in-vitro models.
Within the Tools section of the application, you will find four different functions:
- Explore average gene expression from a user defined list of genes
- Compare expression levels of a selected gene of interest in our complete, normalized dataset
- View details about which hierarchical cluster a gene of interest is associated with
- Compare expression levels of a selected gene of interest that did not meet our normalization and filtering threshold (i.e., lowly expressed genes)
