Events for Patients and Families

You’re invited to our free, fun and educational event at Lucky Strike Bellevue, 700 Bellevue Way NE, Ste. 250, Bellevue, WA 98004. We will be hosting an educational session talking about stress management and how to help our kids with neurofibromatosis (NF). The event will also feature a round of bowling, arcade time and casual conversations with other families and the Seattle Children's Neurofibromatosis team. Food and beverages will be provided.
This is an in-person event only. Please RSVP by September 1 by emailing [email protected] and telling us who will be attending and how many people will be in the group. Space is limited.

Join us for the Pediatric Moving Beyond Cancer to Wellness event designed for pediatric, adolescent and young adults living with a cancer diagnosis. Patients, survivors, caregivers, friends, families and health care professionals are invited to attend.

This free conference is recommended for cancer survivors ages 12 and older and parents of cancer survivors of all ages. It is designed to provide general education on a variety of the late and long-term effects faced by young cancer survivors after treatment is completed and to help promote wellness and empowerment after cancer.

Moving from pediatric to adult diabetes care can feel like a lot of unknowns. Come hear real answers from people who have already made the jump.
Who’s invited? Any teen aged 15-19 with diabetes, and their families.
What is it? A panel discussion featuring young adults with type 1 diabetes who have made the move to adult care, alongside a clinician from the AHEAD Program and a parent of a young adult. Ask about college, travel, work, insurance, tech, relationships, emotions or anything else diabetes-related. Light refreshments will be provided. The AHEAD Program supports teens and young adults with diabetes through the transition from pediatric to adult care with a multidisciplinary team.
