Pediatric Mental and Behavioral Health Research Summit Scheduled for April 21

Seattle Children’s Research Institute will be hosting the Pediatric Mental and Behavioral Health Research Summit on Monday, April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the downtown B. Wayne Hughes Building. Join researchers, clinicians and leading experts in mental and behavioral health to discuss topics ranging from behavioral interventions to support resilience, community support and policy engagement.

The day will feature a keynote presentation from Dr. Velma McBride Murry, University Distinguished Professor of Human and Organizational Development, Department of Human and Organizational Development, at Vanderbilt University, as well as presentations from Seattle Children’s researchers, clinicians, and community members. New Behavioral Health Continuum of Care Video Series for Washington Primary Care Providers

Seattle Children’s Suicide Prevention Program partnered with Seattle Children’s Care Network to create Behavioral Health Continuum of Care: A Series for Primary Care Providers. The series consists of seven short videos (5 – 20 minutes each) that provide education about the levels of care in Washington state and how primary care can support families in accessing care. These videos are suitable for any provider or staff supporting the behavioral health needs of patients and families.
