Seattle Children’s will open a new, state-of-the-art orthopedics clinic in Kirkland on June 22, expanding access to high-quality musculoskeletal and rehabilitation care for children and teens across the Eastside and throughout Washington.

The Seattle Children’s Kirkland Orthopedics Clinic is designed to meet the unique needs of growing bodies, offering expert care for a wide range of conditions — from common sprains and fractures to complex and congenital orthopedic conditions requiring lifelong management. Families will benefit from convenient access to the region’s leading pediatric orthopedic team, with no referral required to schedule an appointment.

This brand-new clinic features 29 patient rooms and is designed to provide a more efficient, family-friendly experience, including improved parking and streamlined visits. For the first time at Seattle Children’s, the site will also include a motion analysis lab, enhancing the ability to assess movement and optimize treatment plans for patients with complex conditions.

At the new clinic, specialists from orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation medicine, orthotics and prosthetics and sports therapy are co-located to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care. This multidisciplinary approach ensures each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that supports recovery, function and a safe return to daily activities and sports.

The clinic is equipped with advanced technology, including point-of-care ultrasound and the EOS low-dose imaging system, now the standard for spine evaluation. These investments align Seattle Children’s facilities with its nationally recognized medical and surgical expertise.

As part of this expansion, ambulatory orthopedic services currently offered at the Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center will transition to the new Kirkland location. This move allows Seattle Children’s to bring teams and services together in a purpose-built space, improving care coordination, access and the overall patient and family experience.

Seattle Children’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Program is consistently ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, reflecting strong patient outcomes and a deep commitment to helping children reach their full potential. The Kirkland location brings this expertise into a single location, making it easier to access timely, specialized care in a setting designed specifically for pediatric musculoskeletal patients.
