eConsult Go-Live for Cardiology, Hematology, Oncology, Pulmonology and Urology, Plus Additional Gastroenterology Templates, is September 25

Beginning September 25, eConsults will be available for Cardiology, Hematology, Oncology, Pulmonology and Urology. We’re excited to expand the options that community providers, patients and families have available to access Seattle Children’s specialists. Below are some additional details on what to expect:
- eConsults for the additional service lines and templates will be available beginning at 8 a.m. PDT on September 25 via EpicCare Link.
- Specialties have thoughtfully developed order templates for specific conditions to be able to gather the most pertinent information and provide you with the most comprehensive consultation.
Cardiology will have templates for:
- Abnormal ECG/ECG Question
- Palpitations/Tachycardia
- Syncope/Presyncope
- Chest Pain
- Family History of Cardiac Disease
- Unspecified Clinical Question
Hematology will have templates for:
- Iron Deficiency/Anemia
- Thrombocytopenia
- Thrombocytosis
- Elevated Ferritin/Hemochromatosis
- Abnormal WBC
- Unspecified Clinical Question
Oncology will have templates for:
- Lymphadenopathy
Pulmonology will have templates for:
- Chronic Cough
- Breathing Issues in a Child <3 Years of Age
- Concern for Asthma in a Child > 3 Years of Age
- Concern for Dyspnea
- Unspecified Clinical Question
Urology will have templates for:
- Hydronephrosis
- Urinary Tract Infection
- Voiding Issues
- Testicular Concerns
- Phimosis/Balanitis
- Unspecified Clinical Question
Gastroenterology will add four additional templates to their existing list:
- Gastritis (new)
- Weight Loss (new)
- Dysphagia (new)
- Chronic diarrhea (new)
- Infant with Bloody Stool (already live)
- Abnormal Celiac Screening (already live)
- Constipation (already live)
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) (already live)
