eConsult Go Live for Adolescent Medicine, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases Is May 22

Beginning May 22, eConsults will be available for Adolescent Medicine, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases. Additionally, the current Gender Clinic eConsult will be updated and moved under Adolescent Medicine. We’re excited to expand the options that community providers, patients and families have available to access Seattle Children’s specialists. Below are some additional details on what to expect:

  • eConsults for the additional service lines will be available beginning at 8 a.m. PDT on May 22 via EpicCare Link.
  • Service lines have thoughtfully developed order templates for specific conditions to be able to gather the most pertinent information and provide you with the most comprehensive suggestions.

Adolescent Medicine will have templates for:

  • Reproductive Health
  • Eating Disorders
  • Gender Clinic (updated)

Gastroenterology will have templates for:

  • Infant with Bloody Stool
  • Abnormal Celiac Screening
  • Constipation
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

Infectious Diseases will have templates for:

  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Cytomegalovirus – CMV)
  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Hepatitis B – HBV)
  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Hepatitis C – HCV)
  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Syphilis)
  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Toxoplasma)
  • Perinatal Infectious Exposure (Unspecified)
  • Latent Tuberculosis (TB)/TB Infection
  • Recurrent Fevers
  • Interpretation of Diagnostic Test Result
  • Unspecified Clinical Question
