    High-Risk Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

    The High-Risk NRP Course provides more details and offers the opportunity to practice advanced skills, including intubation, medications and umbilical vein catheterization. In addition, this course also offers simulation of complex situations such as prematurity and congenital anomalies.
    This course is intended for healthcare providers who have current roles in a high-risk delivery area.
    The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Course is an education program of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association that teaches an evidence-based approach to newborn care.
    The course introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation by utilizing a blended learning approach that includes: online testing, online case-based simulations, as well as hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

    Suicide Prevention Course

    This course will provide nurses information about the complex nature of suicide; and how to assess and determine risks and the appropriate treatment and management for at-risk patients, both in the healthcare setting and the community. This 6-hour class is intended to meet the requirements for the State of Washington mandatory suicide prevention training for nurses and will include the special needs of the pediatric population.
